About Us
 ‘Wheeks
Away’ is set up to make your small pets stay with us as
comfortable as possible. We provide spacious and immaculately
clean living accommodation in a heated or air-conditioned room
(depending on the weather). If you choose our outside
accommodation we make sure in Winter months your pets remains warm
and out of drafts and in the Summer away from direct sunlight. All
cages are cleaned out every 3rd day as hygiene and
cleanliness is important to us.
We
allow all our boarders free time either on the floor, outside in
suitable runs either on the grass or hard area, or just cuddles
and fuss for smaller rodents if that is what you wish.
We
check for signs of illness twice a day and deal with any problems
appropriately.
We
ask all customers to fill out a CARE PLAN that allows us to look
after your pet in a similar fashion to yourself. We endeavour to
provide all the snacks and care that they would get at home. We
also encourage you to indicate the bedding for the cages you would
prefer. We provide hay on paper, shavings, Medibed or Megazorb. If
you have a preference please state clearly on the Care Plan.
You
will need to indicate which style of accommodation you would
prefer OR whether you wish us to try and find space for your own
cage or hutch.
The deposit for all cages or hutch space is £10.00 each.
Please make your preference clear on the booking form.
The
day they arrive and depart is included in our fee, as they are fed
and exercised these days too. Food can be provided, however
rabbits and guinea pigs have delicate intestine flora and a change
of food can be upsetting. We strongly
recommend
that you provide your own dry food.
Cages/hutches are allocated on a first come
first serve basis. Unfortunately, the deposit cannot
be returned if your space is cancelled 4 weeks before your pets
stay.

CAGE AND DATES HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED. If there is a problem we will
be in touch.
